Biography

Jarren Smalls is a millennial mogul from Missouri City, Texas. Smalls believes in striving for greatness and paying it forward. While attending Hightower High school he was accepted to the broadcast media academy. Smalls found comfort in expanding his knowledge in media. This opportunity helped him perfect his skillset on PSA’s, video footage, commercials, and Final Cut Pro; software that only the best use.

Smalls graduated from Prairie View A & M University ’12. Smalls majored in mass communication with a minor in marketing. While attending college he developed a passion for the betterment of the student body. Smalls became the Student Government Association president in 2012. This led to him forming a relationship with the mayor of Houston and HTV also known as Houston Television.

Today, Smalls is the founder and innovator of Smallz Media and a non-profit Legends Do Live. Smallz Media specializes in documentaries, visual musical artistry, and corporate media development. Smallz Media is responsible for the visual development of many leading companies like BET, National Basket Ball Association and Comcast Sports.

Legends Do Live is a 501c3 that develops and encourages youth (ages 13-25) by providing events. All of Legends Do Live events focus on networking, community involvement, and social media experiences that last for a life time. While hosting these events Legends Do Live monetarily invest in the needs of impoverished communities and schools.

Smalls goal is to make sure that he is a leading example of what the city of Houston invested in him as a child. He accomplished all of his endeavors under the age of 25, and wants the world to know that anything is possible with positive mindset.
